You could search Google Images for examples.

The easiest way is to establish a framework of glass. The metal goes along the edge of the stone. Very reliable and safe, nothing can catch on the web, and you can lose a stone. The stone does not have as much clarity about the presentation given is pretty close.

Claw setting is almost the opposite. Small metal ring finger. These are found on the Internet, pause, etc. The stone is larger and much light to penetrate through the stone caught and thus create more brightness. To reduce the risk to the stone, sometimes the number of legs is higher (6 or 8), sometimes the nails are too thick or twice made "finger". In this example, the stone is fairly high, but the legs are strong enough to make it safer. http://www.wedunit.com.au/products.php?p ...

Open recruitment is similar to the ball. Instead of the corresponding "metallic fingers" at the end of the stone, only minor points to keep the stone. S Pave stage floor and pav in this caseWith small stones along ED. These rings are gorgeous, better suited for a big dinner for the daily activities. Very easy to single stones with this configuration.

Adjusting the channel is comparable with the bevel adjustment. Only in this case there are two edges of metal and stones in a row to sit across the borders. More of a modern and well done, good and safe enough for daily activities.
